Two Indigenous Leaders for Israel

Both Jan-Aage´s guests on Insight today are significant leaders in their indigenous people groups. 

Dr Sheree Trotter, a Māori from New Zealand, took her PhD on the history of the Zionist movement in the Kiwi nation. She is the founder of Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem.

Rev Arild Måsø, a Sami from Norway, is a gifted singer of traditional Sami joik, and is the founder of Sami Indigenous Christian Center in Tana of North Norway (Sámi Álgoálbmot Risttalaš Guovddáš).

They both believe that the Jewish people are the indigenous people — the First Nation — of the land of Israel. 

They discuss what happens when indigenous peoples from different nations come together to worship God and stand with Israel, and share their hopes for the future relationships between indigenous peoples of the world, and particularly toward the Jewish nation, Israel.
