Maurice Hirsch: Israel grapples with consequential Legal Issues

The Knesset and Government of Israel are grappling in these days with how to prepare for the post-war era when the nation will have to deal with the Palestinians who planned and executed the atrocities of October 7th, 2023 when 1200 Israelies were slaughtered, raped and beheaded. This will be Israel´s own «Nürnberg trials».

Simultaneously Israel is grappling now with how to deal with the IDF Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi and her collaborators who leaked a surveillance video from the Sde Teiman detention facility—showing alleged severe abuse of a Palestinian detainee by IDF reservists.
