Member of the Norwegian Parliament, Himanshu Gulati, a strong friend of Israel, is ashamed of an effort to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest because Israel is welcome to participate.

Gulati who is born in Norway to Indian parents in this Scandinavian nation, represents the Progress Party (Frp) in the parliament, «Stortinget», and serves on the parliamentary Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. He is a free-speech advocate who is appalled that an «apartheid-free» alternative concert will be held on Saturday in the sanctuary of a State Church in Oslo.

In a frank conversation on Insight with Pastor Torp, Himanshu expresses his dismay to Jan-Aage.

The national finale to choose the Norwegian singer to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in Budapest on May 16th will be held in Oslo on Saturday, February 28th, but simultaneously the Norwegian Palestine Committee, together with the Oslo-based St Paul & Sofienberg Parish of the Church of Norway (=the State Church), will have an «apartheid-free» alternative concert in the sanctuary to mark their opposition to the world´s most popular song contest because Israel is allowed to participate. In this way they hope to pull people away from watching the Norwegian finale which will broadcast on NRK, the national television carrier.
