Dr Forough Amin leads the Women Warriors of Iran in New Zealand

Dr Forough Amin of Auckland, New Zealand is the founder of the community organization «Iranian Women in New Zealand». Her PhD is in Language & Communication (Discourse Studies). Her recent book, «The Scent of Memories», preserves the voices of Iranian women across the Pahlavi era, the Islamic Republic, and migration, which she felt needed to be documented now.

In this intriguing conversation with Jan-Aage in Insight with Pastor Torp she describes a corrupt system in her homeland Iran that cannot be reformed from within and must be dismantled. She has come to the realization that the Iranian people can only rely on itself, in a nation where public gallows are being built, and many executed are young people.

Dr Forough Amin gets great hope from the Iranian women in Iran and globally, who she describes as warriors.
