Hans Sundberg - the Theologian who loves Evangelism

Hans Sundberg holds a doctorate in systematic theology from Uppsala University, and is best known for having brought the Vineyard movement to Sweden and the Nordic countries when he and his wife Lotta founded the Stockholm Vineyard church in 1992.

Pastor Jan-Aage Torp is privileged to have known Sundberg since 1998 when the Lightbearer Controversy hit the Vineyard in Norway, and they have maintained their friendship for 28 years.

- On SatuWday I will talk to Hans about the new book he has written with Jan Runeson about the legacy of John Wimber. It is both a spiritually inspiring book, a historical account, and an analysis of the significance Wimber and the Vineyard have had in the Nordic countries, says Jan-Aage.

Jan-Aage Torp himself became acquainted with Wimber during his study days at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1981-1983, and he co-hosted Wimber as part of the Norwegian Lausanne Committee's Working Committee during Wimber's first visit to Norway in June 1985 under the auspices of the International Lausanne Committee's theological consultation on the Holy Spirit in World Evangelism, which was held in Oslo.
