Bente Spissøy wants Justice and Honor for Shada

Tonight's guest on Insight with Pastor Torp is Bente Spissøy, a long-time project manager in the oil industry in the Nordic region's largest corporation, and since 2023 a county council representative in Vestland County Council.

Spissøy has distinguished herself as a skilled leader in business, but not least she has been committed to the weakest in our society.

But what has become a defining commitment in her life in recent months is the fight for the Palestinian parents of Shada, who at the age of 16 was probably killed while she was placed in child welfare.

Bente is concerned that justice and honor be restored for Shada and her parents, but there is great opposition from powerful forces in Norwegian society and from Norway's largest media house VG, which wants to hide the fact that Shada was actually killed. That's what the police told her parents and the Palestinian ambassador in Oslo when she was found dead in her room in August 2019.
