- I was privileged ot be one of the speakers, says president of European Apostilic Leaders (EAL) Jan-Aage Torp. - The fact that the conference was held at the Islamic Art Museum speaks volumes about the bright future for Israel. All the speakers painted pictures of how Jerusalem is a city that gives room for all faiths, governed by the Jewish State, Israel. Even the museum itself was founded by Jews, and is financed largely by Jews, who want to show respect for Islamic faith and culture, underscores Torp, who was treated to a personal tour of the museum by Gilad Evian - the Jewish General Director of the Museum of Islamic Art.

Among the speakers were Druze Sheikhs Kasem Bader and Rafa Halabi; Alawite leader Adel Shamaly; Majed El Shafie (Egyptian living in Canada, became a Christian in Egypt, fled from death penalty); Layla Abou Shehade (Arab Israeli, motivational speaker); Hadas Shmueli (Jewish, «Nice to Meet»); and Eival Gilady, IDF Brigadier General and businessman.

The most impacting presentation in the peace conference at Museum of Islamic Art in Jerusalem was undoubtedly by Mrs Naela Eldin, a Druze of Majdal Shams in Northern Galilee. She told the story of how her beautiful 11 1/2 year old daughter Alma - nicknamed «the princess» - was killed instantly on July 27th, 2024, while playing football, by a Hezbollah rocket from Lebanon. Altogether 12 children from 10 to 16 were instantly killed. Mrs Naela was the math teacher of Alma and three of these children. She & her husband and two sons are learning valuable lessons on how to live a life without hatred.
