Last night, Marius & Ruth Bodnariu were guests on the program in Norwegian «Innsikt med Pastor Torp» on TV Visjon Norge. Tonight at 20:00 CET an English TV conversation with the Bodnariu´s broasdcasts on TV Vision Heaven & Oslo TV. The couple share their dramatic story from 2015 and speak about their ongoing fight for the Romanian Samson family in Sweden.

In 2015, the Norwegian child welfare services («Barnevernet») suddenly removed their five children, including a two-month-old baby who was still being breastfed. The children were later returned, but the family moved to Romania due to ongoing police charges against them. Since then, they have been actively supporting other families facing similar injustices.

The Bodnarius are now leading the campaign for the Samson family, whose daughters Sara (14) & Tiana (13) were taken by Swedish authorities. Despite the girls clearly wanting to return home and the fact that they are Romanian citizens, Swedish officials have shown little willingness to listen. The case has sparked demonstrations across several countries, a unanimous resolution in the Romanian Senate, and has been raised in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The film «Fjord» by Cristian Mungiu, which is based on the Bodnariu family’s 2015 ordeal, has won several awards at Cannes this year and is considered a strong Oscar contender.

Jan-Aage Torp says:

- Just hours after the broadcast, I received a message from Professor Eivind Meland at the University of Bergen. He wrote:

«Good to belong to a growing movement that values family values and relational justice highly.»

- Meland is neither a conservative Christian nor active in Christian circles, yet he has for many years been a strong advocate for families and against overreach by public authorities. His support shows that the fight for family rights now transcends traditional dividing lines.

- I am very grateful that Professor Meland has given me permission to share his words publicly. Alliances like this give us hope, says Jan-Aage Torp.
