Egypt´s Minister of Awqaf (=Minister of Islam) in President El-Sisi´s Government, Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, has expressed appreciation for the homage that Rev. Jan-Aage Torp, who is the Chairman of Christian Coalition Norway (KKN), has paid this week to Egypt´s success with COP27, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The Minister of Awqaf added, in a statement on Saturday, that Jan-Aage Torp had stated: «I was honored to get to know the Egyptian Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, two years ago. I pray for Egypt that God preserves and blesses the nation.»
The newspapers both write that Rev.
