As European Apostolic Leaders (EAL) has developed since our divine intervention on January 20th, 2016, certain things have become abundantly clear: 1) God is LOVE, and 2) God is JUSTICE.

As I travel and minister Europewide since 2016, I am experiencing a newfound unity across all traditional Church boundaries. God has knitted me closely with Roman Catholics, Orthodox churches, Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals, Charismatics & endless more. I meet and pray with Orthodox Patriarchs and Catholic Archbishops as well as with charismatic youth groups. Together we are discovering and appreciating the need to stand with, and stand up for, individuals and families that are being manhandled grossly by governments and ideological anti-groups.

Limited and usurped

The Father Heart of God message worldwide has sadly for decades been limited and usurped by «secular-charismania» which has portrayed God in such a way that He loves you & me, but He really doesn´t care about your wellbeing when oppression and injustice hits you,  and He doesn´t punish evil on earth - and hardly in eternity either.

However, this is a terrible heresy. 

Jolted

When God jolted Aina & me on December 13th, 2015 and asked us gently to stand up for the Norwegian-Romanian Bodnariu family whose five kids had been suddenly «kidnapped» by Barnevernet (Child Protection System of Norway), that was certainly not what we wanted.

But on January 7th, 2016, God changed His tone, and spoke forcefully and instructed us to defend them, because they were the victims of grave injustice, and the Church of Norway was silent - Lutheran, Catholic, Pentecostal, Charismatic & Co.

On January 20th, 2016 came the prophetic word to us that changed us for life.

God majors on both LOVE & JUSTICE. He IS both love & justice.

Major 1: Unconditional love

The Word of God leaves no doubt about God´s unconditional love:

«So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him» (1 John 4:16).

«There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love» (1 John 4:18).

Major 2: Justice

However, the emphasis of Holy Scripture on God as JUSTICE is equally clear:

«Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world» (James 1:27).

«Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause» (Isaiah 1:17).

The Challenge of Justice

I discovered the calling unto prayer for justice when I became a friend of Lou Engle in 2002. He started a Justice House of Prayer in Washington DC where prayer for justice went on 24/7. They prayed for Supreme Court processes, decisions, nominations, political decisions etc.

But these prayers are not easy. They challenge the condition of our hearts. We are not to be judgemental, not unforgiving. Yet we are to pray for justice, which means that we must also pray that evil receives punishment, both on earth and in heaven. Not easy!

Many young Christians have discovered the need to speak up against Human Trafficking. This has almost become a fad.

But in our church in Oslo, we get involved in the actual lives of women and men who are victims of human trafficking. This is not a glamorous ministry, believe me! It demands blood, sweat and tears. And it demands unconditional love and uncompromising justice. We work with lawyers and the courts, and we give practical help in life.

This is where we have to hear the heartbeat and voice of God!

The Unifying Forces

The Unifying Divine Forces of Love & Justice are the keys to revival and transformation in Europe!

I believe that the Seventh Annual Gathering of EAL in Strasbourg on March 31st-April 3rd, 2020 will highlight this. Our venue is a five minute walk from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) as well as the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. We will seek God´s face, we will pray, we will deliberate, we will meet the judges and the lawmakers.

This is the Christian unity that is expanding in Norway, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Moldova, Albania, Russia, Italy, France, Belgium, Great Britain & more.

This is #AuthenticLiving. This is the Church of Europe in 2020!
