Creating an Apostolic Environment

In the Apostolic environment there is no fear. No fear of failure. No fear of ungracious punishment.
I have lost all fear. I am succeeding - not because I’m so great…. But because I have spiritual fathers who speak destiny into my life. Together with them and spiritual brothers and sisters - we are creating an Apostolic environment. It’s spreading from continent to continent, writes Jan-Aage Torp.

Creating an Apostolic Environment«I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow!» (1Corinthians 3:6)

This joyful exclamation from Apostle Paul to the Corinthian Church sets before the modern Apostolic Movement a beautiful, normative description of the Apostolic Ecosystem that God intends for us to develop.

A truly Apostolic Church and Movement is an environment of beauty, variety, growth and generational life.

It is NOT a series of projects, initiatives, convictions and prophecies that are mishmashed together, but, like in the natural habitat, the grass, plants, trees, insects, animals, birds, fish, water, skies, air and mankind fit together in harmony. Perfect harmony.

The  perverted «apostolic» church controls, overtly and covertly, every member. Like the excesses of «the Shepherding movement» of the 1970’s, and the robot-like brutality of the militant «Faith movement» of the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Such aberrations have left thousands of believers in the wayside, and sadly, very few have been helped back on the way. Generations have been lost.

When I met John P. Kelly for the first time in October 1995, I rejected him. I said flatly: «I’m scared of Apostles!»

But we are all learning! There is a way. A way for everyone.

The truly Apostolic has soundness and love at its core. True apostolic fathers and mothers don’t push their sons and daughters to the extreme. True apostles are always prepared to give the benefit of the doubt. True apostles give 2nd, 3rd, 4th +++ chances. True apostles go looking for the lost son and daughter. True apostles don’t use the next generation for our own gain. True apostles see and speak destiny, purpose, future, vision and hope into the heart and mind of their son and daughter.

Paul and Timothy. Paul and Titus. The list goes on and on, in history and today, of sound, lifegiving Apostolic relationships.

In the Apostolic environment there is no fear. No fear of failure. No fear of ungracious punishment.

I have lost all fear. I am succeeding - not because I’m so great…. But because I have spiritual fathers who speaks destiny into my life. Together with them and other spiritual brothers and sisters - we are creating an Apostolic environment. It’s spreading from continent to continent.

Many are planting seeds, many are watering. And God gives the growth!
